Charlotte Akin (Dotty) Charlotte was last seen as Charwoman/ Ensemble in Synetic Theatre’s Metamorphosis.  Other credits include:  Olympia in A Flea in Her Ear with Constellation, Female Netizen in Dark Play with Forum Theatre, Portia Coughlin with Solus Nua, Underground with The Inkwell, Kafka’s Dick at Washington Shakespeare Co., Getting Out with Journeyman Theatre, Valparaiso with Forum Theatre, The Insect Play and Silent Partners with Scena Theatre, Death of a Salesman, A Man For All Seasons, Sideman and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with The Keegan Theatre, The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow with The Studio SecondStage, and Lady Chatterley’s Lover with The Washington Shakespeare Company. Michael Innocenti (Garry)—Michael is on the executive staff of The Keegan Theatre and is a company member who has appeared in many productions including: The Graduate (Priest, ensemble), Love Letters (Andy) Lincolnesque (Leo), Elizabeth Rex (Matt), Glengarry Glen Ross (James Lingk; U.S./Ireland Tour), Man of La Mancha (Sancho), The Hostage (Rio Rita), Mojo/Mickybo (Mickybo), Death of A Salesman (Happy; U.S./Ireland tour), The Importance of Being Ernest (Algernon), and A Streetcar Named Desire (Ensemble).  Other regional credits include: Source Theatre Festival’s The Armchair Traveler (Elliott) and Writer’s Block (Chad), Anything Goes (Billy), Lunch! The Musical (Ben, Kennedy Center), and A Midsummer’s Night Dream (Peter Quince; Olney Theatre). Michael has understudied at both the Olney Theatre Center and for Folger Theatre and has done readings with Signature Theatre, The Hub Theatre, and The Inkwell.  He has designed the lighting for Keegan’s productions of Love Peace and Robbery (Off Broadway and D.C.) and A Man of No Importance.

 

Elizabeth Jernigan (Poppy) has recently worked with Keegan Theatre as Agnes in Dancing at Lughnasa and as Marta in Gdirl From Gdansk.  Her favorite rolls include Gremio in The Taming of the Shrew with The Maryland Shakespeare Festival, Marie LeRoux in Is He Dead? with Olney Theatre,  Peg in The Way of the World with The Shakespeare Theatre Company, Gwendolyn Pigeon in The Odd Couple with Accokeekcreek Theatreco, The Mother Goat in Grimm’s Fairytales with Classika Theatre, and Rezeyla in Passing the Love of Women with Theatre J.

 

Jim Jorgensen (Lloyd) is happy to be back at Keegan Theatre where he has been a part of a number of shows, including Glengarry Glen Ross, Buried Child, Lie of the Mind, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Brianna Letourneau (Brooke)—Brianna is thrilled to return to Keegan Theatre, where she was last seen as Chris in Dancing at Lughnasa. A proud Oregon native, she holds a BA in Drama from Catholic University.  Most recently, she played Myrtle Mae in Harvey at The Bay Theatre Company and the Damsel in Distress in DC Dog and Pony’s Capital Fringe production of Bare Breasted Women Sword Fighting. A passionate teaching artist, she teaches with Round House Theatre, Imagination Stage, and Adventure Theatre. She thanks her family for their long-distance love and always, B.

 

Susan Marie Rhea (Belinda)—Susan is a Keegan Theatre company member, where her acting credits include Maggie in Dancing at Lughnasa, Carla in Lincolnesque, Maire in Translations (Helen Hayes nomination, Oustanding Ensemble), Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire (Ireland/U.S.), Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Ireland/U.S.), Laura in The Glass Menagerie (Ireland/U.S.), Beth in A Lie of the Mind, and many others.  Directing credits for The Keegan Theatre include:  RENT (five Helen Hayes nominations, including Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Resident Musical), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Elizabeth Rex, A Man for All Seasons, Agnes of God, True West, The Crucible.  Post-graduate theater training: Circle in the Square (NY, NY).  Susan is Associate Artistic Director and a member of the Board of Directors at Keegan Theatre. Big love to Mark and the Keegan family.

 

Colin Smith (Tim)Colin is a graduate of The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts and The Actors Repertory Theater. Keegan credits include Michael in Dancing at Lughnasa, Boss/Assistant Director, Of Mice and Men (Ireland/US), Ruckly in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Williamson in Glengarry Glen Ross (US and Ireland), Manus in Translations (Helen Hayes nomination, Oustanding Ensemble), and McNair in 1776.  Regional credits include Marat/Sade with Forum Theatre, As American As and Inspector General with Journeyman Theatre; The Rape of Lucrece at Washington Shakespeare Company; Desire Under the Elms at American Century Theater; and Short Order Stories at Charter (U/S). He was a guest artist at NCDA for McBett and Three Sisters. As a member of ART, Colin performed in The Impossible Marriage, Murder in the Cathedral, and the premiere of Late Bloomers and Glory Days.

 

Jon Townson (Frederick Fellowes/Phili Brent/Sheik)--Jon is thrilled to be back with Keegan friends again, where he’s played Jonathan Edmund (Elizabeth Rex), Owen (Translations), King Henry VIII (A Man for All Seasons), Paddy Brabazon (The Island of No Land At All [World Premiere]), Tybalt/Father Lawrence (Romeo & Juliet), & Gentleman Caller (The Glass Menagerie [Ireland Tour & US]).  Other area credits include: American Century Theater: Price (Stalag 17); Firebelly Productions: Jamie (Long Day’s Journey into Night) & Bazarov (Nothing Sacred); Studio Theatre (Secondstage): Jackson/Garin (The Death of Meyerhold); & Project Y/Source Theatre: Cape Race (White Biting Dog). He has appeared in the short film “Parting Ways,” is seen in commercials for PBS, Sweetscam.com, Len Stoler Porsche, Homes.com, The National Guard, Comcast, Precision Tune Auto Care, and hosted “Home and Design TV” on WJZ in Baltimore. His training includes a BFA/Acting from Auburn University, an MFA/Acting from the University of Florida, as well as holding Actor/Combatant status with the Society of American Fight Directors (unarmed combat, rapier/dagger, broadsword). He lives in Washington with his beautiful wife Kelly, & their Mini Bull-Terrier, Daisy Lieu Whieux Annyer Liddledaug Too.

 

 

 

Mark A. Rhea (Director)—Keegan Directing Credits include:  A Man of No Importance, RENT (Five Helen Hayes nominations, including Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Resident Musical), Dancing at Lughnasa (2010), Man of La Mancha, Translations (Helen Hayes nomination, Outstanding Direction), The Hostage,1776, Faith Healer, A Streetcar Named Desire, Bold Girls, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, The Playboy of the Western World, Island of No Land at All, Romeo and Juliet, Precious Lam’, Waiting for the Slow Dance,  Synge with Yeats, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Field, The Notebook of Trigorin, Dancing at Lughnasa.  Mark is Producing Artistic Director of The Keegan Theatre, the Mount Olivet Players and Chalice Theatre.  He wishes to thank his beautiful wife Susan for her never ending support and love.

Kelly Peacock (Costume Design)—Keegan credits include A Man of No Importance, The Graduate, Dancing at Lughnasa, RENT,  Elizabeth Rex, A Man for All Seasons, Translations, Man of La Mancha, and Krapp’s Last Tape. Kelly lives in DC with her wonderful, talented husband, Jon, and her relatively untalented but still wonderful dog, Daisy.

Katrina Wiskup (Properties Assistant)—Keegan credits include: A Man of No Importance, The Graduate, Dancing at Lughnasa, RENT, Man of La Mancha, Closing Time, The Hostage, Agnes of God, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Bold Girls, and Death of a Salesman (Production Assistant and Properties). Previously, she was with Washington Shakespeare Company as Managing Director and Director of Subscriber Services. Also served as Production Assistant for Scaramouche, Jumpers, Waiting for Godot, Night of the Iguana, The Tempest, Titus Andronicus, and The Milk Train Doesn’t Stop Here Anymore. At Arena Stage, she has worked wardrobe for Camelot, and spotlight operator for Senor Discretion, Damn Yankees, She Loves Me, and Women of Brewster Place

 

George Lucas (Set Designer, Master Carpenter)—Design credits include more than 25 productions for The Keegan Theatre, the most recent being  A Man of No Importance, The Graduate, Dancing at Lughnasa, RENT, Elizabeth Rex, Translations and Man of La Mancha. Other credits include set designs for ArtStream, Imagination Stage, Fountainhead Theatre, ACT, Adventure Theatre, and the John Houseman Theatre in NYC. George works as a freelance designer, artist/sculptor and art consultant, www.GeorgeLucasArt.com.  As a long-time liver transplant recipient he is forever grateful to his Donor Family for their precious gift in July of 1995.

 

Carol Baker (Set Dresser/Properties)—Previous Keegan set/props credits include: A Man of No Importance, Dancing at Lughnasa, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Elizabeth Rex, Man of La Mancha, Translations, The Hostage, A Man for All Seasons, The Tempest, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Bold Girls, Death of a Salesman, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, and True West. Keegan acting credits include True West (Mom—Ireland/US), An Island of No Land at All (O’Malley’s Mother/Woman), A Streetcar Named Desire (Nurse, ensemble Ireland/US). Carol produced Keegan’s Agnes of God, served as the company’s managing director 2001-2007 and currently serves as Company Set Dresser/Properties Designer.

 

Lauren Miller (Assistant Stage Manager)—Lauren is excited to be working with The Keegan Theatre again, where her past Stage Management experience includes A Man of No importance and Dancing at Lughnasa.  Lauren is a 2009 graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a B.A. in Theatre and in History.  Loyola credits include Assistant Stage Manager for Arcadia and Big Love, and Sound Board Op. for Intimate Apparel.  She also directed two student-written plays for the theatre department’s New Play Festival last spring.  Other credits include Stage Manager for Love, Sex, and the IRS and The Foreigner, both at LTA.
