The King of Mackie Street
by Eric Lucas
directed by Daniel Lyons
Opening January 11-February 1, 2000

The world premiere. In south Ireland, Francis McKeon is settling peacefully into his recent retirement. But a sudden turn of events arise, forcing him to save his friend, his livelihood, and the woman he loves, leading him into a crime gone drastically wrong. Written by The Keegan Theatre's Associate Artistic Director, this hilariously comic and darkly tragic story is but the first in what promises to be a long and fulfilling line of new works to come our way.
