Virginia Riehl 2006 LOWT Off-Stage Award Recepient for The Keegan Theatre
Virginia Riehl first began helping The Keegan Theatre as a box office volunteer in early 2002 when her daughter Emily was cast in Brian Friel’s Give Me Your Answer, Do!. Since that time she has become an indispensable member of Keegan’s Executive staff and Board of Directors.
Whether by email, telephone, or in person, Virginia masterfully tends to all ticket needs. She sets high standards, has completely revamped Keegan’s box office procedures, maintains detailed audience attendance records and is always willing to lend a hand beyond the ticket-realm as well.
Virginia has a special knack for knowing what to do in any situation; even the most awkward moments are defused and managed smoothly when she is on the scene with her attentive ear, thoughtful approach and winning smile. We are proud to have Virginia Riehl’s cheerful, welcoming, clear-thinking, professional presence represent us to the public.
