O'Malley of Shananagh and Tattoo Sky
Tattoo Sky
De Bourke O'Malley has had enough of the sea, and so he returns to his beloved Ireland where a boy can see faraway islands from a mountain top vantage point, and where a man will fall in love under the spell of an Irish moon. O'Malley of Shananghah is a haunting, lyrical story of love and loss from the Helen Hayes award-winning playwright, Peter Coy.
Tattoo Sky. In a rundown house in the Nevada desert, Ray and Meg love and hate the time away as they wait for the man they have set up to con. But when he arrives, they find that they just may have met their match. Lucas steps into Sam Shepard's territory of the mystic and echoing wasteland that is America, the dying west, dreams lost, and the question of who's conning who. Other original works by Lucas previously produced by Keegan include The King of Mackie Street (2000), Of These Days Past (2001) and the acclaimed double billing of Precious Lam' and Waiting for the Slow Dance (2002).
Performed at the Clark Street Playhouse
